Sunflower 1/1/11

If…

I do not reach the golden orb

Which you call the sun

And as I wonder

What deems it so powerful

This center of all life and creation

I will

Grow

and

Learn

But if I fail

I do not belong

Here

On Earth with this honey glazed star

Amid the glory

So I inch my way up

Up to the heavens above
